- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks (save the whites for the frosting)
- 1 teaspoon Rodelle vanilla extract
For decorating:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 tube green frosting with small tip
- red and green nonpareils sprinkles
- star sprinkles
