Here's a recipe for Santa Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup red and green candy-coated chocolates (M&M's or similar)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, candy-coated chocolates, and chopped nuts (if using), until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may appear slightly undercooked but will firm up as they cool.
7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. Once cooled, serve and enjoy these festive Santa Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies!
